Westerville, OH – 10/01/2024 – At the upcoming Chillventa exhibition in Nuremberg (October 8–10, 2024), Sensience will showcase its commitment to supporting the EU’s transition towards climate-friendly refrigerants by presenting its A2L & A3 Gas Solutions. This in-depth presentation will provide exhibition participants with a high-level overview of the development path Sensience has taken in creating its innovative 30G gas sensor.

The presentation will highlight key industry insights while also showcasing technical A2L and A3 gas sensing specifications that are critical in supporting this important industry transition, particularly to refrigerants that offer lower global-warming potential (GWP).

The session will be led by Lee Washbourn, Technology Director at Sensience, an HVAC expert with over 29 years of engineering leadership experience in the design of heating appliance safety control electronics. Through its advanced gas sensing technologies, Sensience aims to drive the adoption of safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly refrigerants, strengthening the industry’s capacity to meet current standards.
