We had the privilege of participating in the 2023 AHR Expo in Atlanta, Georgia in early February. Throughout the course of three days, we shared our thoughts on the future of the HVACR industry. Better yet, we were able to show people how we have dedicated ourselves to creating top-notch sensing components. If we listed all the great things that happened at the expo, we’d be here all day. So, to keep things brief, here are the three best things about our experience at AHR.
Earlier this year, we officially changed our name to Sensience from Therm-O-Disc. The change was motivated by our commitment to growth and progress, and our desire to forge a dynamic and forward-thinking path in the industry. We celebrated with a reception, attended by colleagues and trade show partners. In between eating and drinking, we raised a toast to our continued efforts to support a cleaner, safer and more connected world through industry-leading technologies. Celebrating the success of our new energy-efficient sensors, we also reflected on how far we’ve come and looked forward to exploring new frontiers in the industry with sustainable solutions.
There’s nothing quite like attending an exposition to connect with like-minded individuals, especially those who share our passion for advancing and improving HVACR systems. A particular focus was on A2L sensors, which promise to unlock a host of new possibilities in terms of high-capacity options for commercial and industrial applications, as well as outdoor condensing units (OCUs). We couldn’t be more excited about the future of refrigerant sensors and having the opportunity to showcase the latest innovations in the field.
Our very own Director of Gas Sensor Engineering, Jeff West, explored the technological properties of our state-of-the-art 30G A2L sensor enabled by patented NevadaNano technology. Throughout his talk, Jeff provided invaluable insights into the value of A2L refrigerants and the role they play in solving some of the most pressing challenges facing the commercial refrigeration landscape. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the AHR Expo. We are looking forward to continuing our shared journey of innovation and progress in the years ahead and meeting all your HVAC needs with certainty.
